Propose a club, tournament or correction

Use this form for a chess club, a youth circle, a tournament series or a chess evening in a bar or café in Prague or a nearby town that the guide does not have yet, or for an entry that is wrong or out of date. Players, parents, coaches, club officials and staff of the venues are all welcome to write.

A link helps most: the club's own page, a federation calendar entry or a dated post. Messages are read together at the next revision and compared with that page, and each resulting change is dated in the record of edits.

What is your message about?

A place or event that is missing

A mistake in an entry

Which entry

Name of the club, venue or tournament

What should change?A missing place: what is played there and on which weekday. An error: the line of the entry that needs fixing.

The correct information

Where it can be checkedPaste a link to the club page, federation calendar entry or post that shows it.

How you know the place

Your nameUsed to tell messages apart; your name never appears on the site.

Another way to reach youPhone, Signal, WhatsApp or similar, if email does not suit you.

Leave at least one contact. Nobody else sees it, and it is used only for questions about your message.

How the content of this form is handled is explained on the page about personal data.

What happens next

Messages wait until the next revision of the guide and are then read together.
Each one is compared with the club's or organiser's own pages; where they confirm it, the entry changes and the date goes into the record of edits.
If no page backs a message up, the entry is left unchanged, unconfirmed status and all.
Replies go out only to those who ask for one and leave a contact.
