Blitz tournaments in Prague 10

Blitz in Prague clusters around a handful of clubs and a few odd venues. TJ Kobylisy holds its Sudý pátek series on Friday evenings in its Sokol hall, Bohemians plays for a towel in its open blitz at the Slovenská street hall, and Unichess fills the days after Christmas with a rated blitz in Karlín.

The festivals add their own blitz sections: Zlatá Praha in June, the Summer Prague Open in August and the International Festival in late winter. The Smíchovský soudek is a team blitz for teams of four played in the Staropramen brewery, a fixture for decades. Further out, Čelákovice runs its Tour blitz series on Friday evenings.
