Rapid tournaments in and around Prague 28

Rapid is the everyday tournament format of Prague: a whole event fits into one Saturday or one evening. Club series keep it going through the season, among them Putovní kůň at ŠK Loko in Dejvice, the Kobyliský rapid of TJ Kobylisy, and the Vršovice autumn rapid in the Sokol hall.

Districts run their own: Letňany offers a free tournament run by the Prague 18 district, Kbely uses a hangar club, and the meeting room of the Prague 5 district office sees the Turnaj generací for all ages, a seniors' event and several youth rapids. Youth series run at the PORG school and at OAZA in Krč and at the Gymnázium nad Alejí, and memorials named after Věra Menčíková, Jan Weisgrab, Břetislav Modr and General Hradil are played at this speed too.
