Thursday is a playing day in three corners of Prague. TJ Pankrác in Praha 4 gives Thursday as its club day in its own hall, and its open blitz series is played there every second Thursday in the autumn, so a visitor may find a tournament rather than a quiet club evening.
In Praha 8, TJ Kobylisy trains its youngest players on Thursday afternoon, while Šachový klub Bohnice meets twice that day in the club room of the DDM Spirála children's house: a youth circle for players who already know the moves, then the adult club evening. The same Bohnice room is used on Monday as well. Times are on each entry; the pages give them for the school year, so holidays can break the pattern.
