Gymnázium Budějovická, školní šachový tým

Newest evidence

Teams of the school played in the Prague school teams championship (Přebor Prahy družstev škol) that the Prague Chess Federation runs, at two events of its 2026 edition on the tournament server: the qualification of 27 and 28 January (lower secondary, "Gybu 1"; secondary schools, "Gybu 2" and "Gybu 3") and the final of 4 March (lower secondary, "Gybu 1"). The Federation's reports print the date of each event; which of the two qualification days each group played is not printed. The label "Gybu" is the school's own short name ("GyBu" on its site); its six-year bilingual course explains the lower-secondary team. The team lists and the Federation's reports are the only dated chess trace, so the entry stays unconfirmed. The championship is played at the Hotel Don Giovanni, not at the school; the card records the school's team, not a session open to visitors.
