Teams of the school played in the Prague school teams championship (Přebor Prahy družstev škol) that the Prague Chess Federation runs, in two editions on the tournament server: in 2025 in the qualification of 28 and 29 January (secondary schools, "Gočárovci A", "Gočárovci B" and "Gočárovci C"), and in 2026 in the qualification of 27 and 28 January (secondary schools, "Gočárovci A" and "Gočárovci B"). The Federation's reports print the date of each event; which of the two qualification days each group played is not printed. The school's own news page reports its two teams at the qualification of 27 January 2026 and the fifth Christmas tournament of its school chess club on 18 December 2025, in the school's staff room. The championship is played at the Hotel Don Giovanni, not at the school; the card records the school's team, not a session open to visitors.
