TJ Zora Praha

Newest evidence

TJ Zora Praha is a sports union of blind athletes. Its chess page says chess was the union’s very first sport and that the section is a large one, with separate adult and children’s groups; it gives training on Tuesdays from 18:00 to 22:00 plus one online session a week, in the club room of its chess players and shooters in Jakutská, Vršovice, and says the players organise several tournaments and championships for adults and children every year. Pieces and boards are tactile, so blind and sighted players can play each other. The page does not say who may join or what membership costs. A news post of 19 April 2026 reports the section’s players at the 29th Memoriál V Trávníčka in Karlovice and dates that tournament only as the weekend after Easter Monday.
